''Wages of Sin'' is a short story exclusively found in the Volume II version of [[Halo: Evolutions]]. It details the recollections and guilt of the [[Minister of Discovery]] as he recalls tinkering with [[Forerunner]] technology and releasing the [[Flood]]. The story ends with the Prophet surrendering himself to the Flood, saying that nothing can be done anymore.
