Hynix Shares Jump on Expectation Chip Prices to Rebound Soon

Jan. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Hynix Semiconductor Inc. advanced in Seoul trading on speculation prices for computer memory chips will soon rebound, an analyst said. The world’s second-largest maker of computer memory added 4.4 percent to 25,050 won as of 11:41 a.m. on the Korea Exchange, while larger chipmaker Samsung Electronics Co. gained 1.4 percent to 962,000 won.
