Dec. 15 (Bloomberg) -- Unitech Ltd., India’s second-biggest developer by assets, fell in Mumbai trading after the company’s mobile-phone venture received a government order to prove it’s entitled to keep offering wireless services.

Unitech Falls After Saying it Will Respond to Eligibility Notice

Dec. 15 (Bloomberg) -- Unitech Ltd. fell 2.3 percent to 61.9 rupees as of 9:16 a.m. local time. The real estate company’s phone venture with Telenor ASA yesterday said it would respond to a notice from India’s telecommunications ministry asking it to prove eligibility for licenses for second- generation wireless services.
