| + | After watching ''The Return'' on Halo Waypoint, I believe that there is a possibility that the Spiker may have a fire selector. In the Great SChism flashbacks during ''The Return, ''there is at least one example where a Brute fires a single Spiker round, and the shot fired makes a very different sound than other Spiker shots in ''The Return. ''Also, during the same scenes, I believe there were moments when Brutes were seen firing Spikers in regulated bursts. Of course, this same effect can be achieved with a fully automatic weapon, but it is reasonable to assume that a ballistic weapon like the Spiker would have a fire selector.
