If we put Reapers vs Forerunners I would say Forerunners win whit ease, if you seen halo legends: origins 1 a couple of forerunner ships combined fire to destroy a fleet.
Also if you played ME2 EDI says something about Reapers using organic materials to "reproduce" them self, so I think that halo effect would effect those parts, however halo destroys sentient life and it effects machines to some extent according to "Halo: Cryptum"
If you put in their sentinels you get almost unfair fight against the Reapers
at lest these are my thoughts
